You, our alumni, are of special importance to the work of the Foundation. You know first-hand how important it is to invest in young people and their education, and how much not only the financial help mattered during your studies, but the mentorship you received as well. 
 
You are Studenica, because you are the proof that good education leads to successes.
 
So far, we have distributed over 2,000 scholarships, and 300 of those were scholarships for studies at the most prestigious universities in the United States, such as Harvard, Yale, Princeton, etc.

Today, our alumni live all over the world, and with their knowledge and talent assure us that everything we do is valuable. They are successful in business and the academic world, they are doctors, artists, leaders, and winners of many awards in their communities and worldwide.

Ana Andjelic on the Forbes Most influential CMO’s list

Ana Andjelic, alumna of the Studenica Foundation, is one of the most influential Chief Marketing Officers (CMO’s), according to Forbes. Ana is also the author of a published book, The Business of Aspiration, which has a special significance in the field of branding strategy. She also publishes a very influential newsletter that deals with the topics of modern business and branding. She is very active on social networks, building brand profiles and sharing thoughts on people's adaptability to crises such as the global COVID-19 pandemic. She lives and works in New York. Nikola Bozinovic, one of the most successful  Serbian start-up entrepreneurs

Nikola Božinović, an alumnus of the Studenica Foundation, is the founder and executive director of the company "Frame", an enterprise cloud platform, which was recently sold for $165 million to the American software cloud company "Nutanix".
He left Serbia more than twenty years ago, but he is still very attached to his homeland. He first opened the development offices of his companies in his native city of Nis. He wants to transfer his knowledge of the way of working and thinking that he has acquired in Silicon Valley to Serbia, where, as he says, everyone is committed to the development of a real idea, which really creates value.

Vesna Pavlović
"SHE IS AN ARTIST WHOSE WORKS ARE EXHIBITED WORLDWIDE AND INCLUDED IN PUBLIC AND PRIVATE GALLERIES, MUSEUMS AND COLLECTIONS"
Vesna Pavlović is a researcher at the Smithsonian Artist Research, Fulbright Scholar, advisor and associate professor of Art at Vanderbilt University.
Her works can be found among the world’s most significant collections and museums, including the Phillips Collection, the Hirschhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, the Museum of Women in Art, and the Art Program at Embassies in Washington; Princeton University Art Gallery, Princeton, New Jersey; Center for Creative Photography, University of Arizona, Tucson, Arizona; and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Belgrade, Serbia, and many others.
Vesna’s projects examine the development of the relationship between memory in contemporary culture and the technology of producing photographic images.

Tamara Pavasović Trošt
"YOUNG SERBIAN DOCTOR OF SOCIOLOGY FROM HARVARD - THE ONLY ONE IN THAT FIELD THAT RECEIVED AN AWARD FOR PEDAGOGICAL EXCELLENCE"
​Tamara Pavasović Trošt is a professor at the Department of Sociology at the Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. She holds a PhD in Sociology from Harvard University and a master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Syracuse.
She is the winner of the Jacquin-Berdal award from the School of Economics in London.
At Harvard, she received the Excellence Award for her pedagogical work, which is the first time in history that someone from the field of sociology has received it.

Her articles have been published in world-renowned journals such as Studies in Ethnicity and Nationalism, Sport in Society, Nations and Nationalism: A Journal of the Association for the Study of Ethnicity and nationalism.

Dr Lazar Velicki
"CARDIOLOGIST AND PROFESSOR WHO RETURNED TO SERBIA"

Dr. Lazar Velicki received the prestigious Fulbright
scholarship that enabled him to improve in the field mechanical circulatory support at the renowned Texas Heart Institute (Houston, USA) under the mentorship of Dr. Bud Frazier.

After that, he returned to Serbia and is now employed at the Clinic for Cardiovascular Surgery IKVBV, and is an associate professor at the Department of Surgery of the Faculty of Medicine, University in Novi Sad.

He has participated in more than 50 conferences and professional gatherings in the country and abroad. He is the author of more than 80 papers published in renowned domestic and international journals.
