The webinar "Keeping up with the digitalization of knowledge" has been successful!
Six extraordinary lectures were held on July 10-11 from 2 to 5:15 p.m., and the webinar was opened by Branislava Gajić Stanojević, co-founder and director of the Infostud group, a company that was one of the sponsors of the event. We thank all the lecturers who came from different parts of the world and time zones to transfer their unique knowledge and inspire you to continue your education at both formal and informal levels.
We are also honored to say that two of the lecturers are alumni of the Studenica Foundation who are today distinguished professors at universities in the United States and Slovenia.
There were over 200 applications, among which, in addition to students from Serbia and the entire region, there were many professors and people who work in education and those who are studying to be teachers. Thus, our webinar has a much larger range than expected and the knowledge that these experts gained in these lectures will be able to pass on to everyone they teach. At each lecture, there were between 50-70 participants who, with their questions and comments, contributed to making the lectures interactive and therefore more interesting.
Once again, we would like to thank everyone who showed interest in the topics we talked about, and especially that you wanted to progress and learn in this uncertain period in the whole world.
We have carefully selected the lecturers and topics of lectures in relation to current events in education in Serbia and the region, but also in the world. As mentioned several times by the lecturers at the webinar, everything we do must be for young people, with young people.
The digitalization of education is a significant part of the discourse on education, especially in the current situation with a pandemic, when we cannot travel, gain and spread knowledge. We wanted to make available the knowledge and experiences of all those who selflessly decided to share them with us in order to show young people that they have opportunities for education on digital platforms right where they are.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the sponsors who had confidence in our team and organization.
Thanks to Atos Company and Infostud Group for financial support, Coming Computer Engineering for technical support, Exit Foundation for promotion and publisher “Akademska knjiga” for providing all participants with a 30% discount on all its publications. They also presented all lecturers with the book "My Inventions" by Nikola Tesla, who is certainly one of the most famous Serbs from the diaspora and whose birthday was on the first day of the webinar.
We have prepared a survey for all participants, based on which we will determine what we have done well and what needs to be fixed in order for each subsequent project to be as successful as this one. Our goal is to create projects and content that will affect the progress of young people in Serbia and the region. Anyone who has listened to the lectures can fill it out here.
If you did not manage to listen to the lectures you wanted to hear, the recordings will be available in the coming days on our Youtube channel ( we will try to add English subtitles as soon as possible).
We are looking forward to future projects, so stay tuned for our news and follow our social media!
