Third place in the national Moot Court competition "Condemn Discrimination" for Nevena's team
Our fellow Nevena Nedeljković is a student at the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade, who has been improving her knowledge in the field of law for years through various extracurricular activities and organizations.
Together with her colleagues, Nevena won 3rd place in the national Moot Court competition "Condemn Discrimination", organized by the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality and the Open Society Foundation. 15 teams from different faculties across Serbia participated in the competition. This year, the topic of the competition was discrimination based on property status in the field of education and vocational training during the corona virus pandemic.
The competition consisted of three phases, each of which was eliminatory (writing a lawsuit, answering a lawsuit and an oral phase). Nevena, together with members of her team, colleagues Vasilije Mitrovski and Emilija Gajić, was the youngest participant in the competition, as a third-year student who has not yet taken the Civil Procedure Law at the faculty, which makes her success even greater.
We are glad that Nevena is perfecting her knowledge through competitions and various activities. Congratulations to Nevena and her team on great results!
