Vuka Jeremić

Vuka Jeremić was born in Belgrade, where she graduated from the Faculty of Philology at the University of Belgrade.
She holds the highest professional rank in the field of librarianship and has decades of experience serving as an advisor at the University Library “Svetozar Marković.” She served as Chair of the Commission for the Coordinated Acquisition of Books of the Association of University Libraries of Serbia. Her professional experience also includes work in journalism, as well as the conception and organization of numerous projects, thematic exhibitions, and cultural events. She is the author of more than 60 published papers in professional journals and conference proceedings, has participated in over 20 professional and scientific conferences, conducted 12 series of invited courses and lectures, and curated and organized more than 50 exhibitions of books and posters accompanied by related publications. She is the recipient of the “Dejan Vukićević Golden Letter” Award for the exhibition Kafka: Without Ancestors and Descendants. Prior to her appointment as Director of the Studenica Foundation, she served as the Foundation’s advisor for media relations, the organization of scholarship competitions and the “Miroslav Michael Djordjevich” Award, as well as the planning and coordination of donor events and art auctions aimed at raising funds for student scholarships. |
