Virtual event 2022, Serbs around the world
The Studenica Foundation participated in an event called the Great Virtual event of the Serbian Diaspora from around the world, organized by SAN magazine from Toronto, which lasted from March 4 to 6, 2022.
They talked about Serbian culture, its preservation in the diaspora and about connecting and cooperating both individuals and organizations from the Serbian diaspora. We have heard performances of numerous songs and ethno songs, which our tradition inherits, performed by choirs from the diaspora. In addition, the panelists presented their contribution to nurturing the Serbian language and culture abroad. They also pointed out the importance of organizing and connecting both the mutual and the diaspora with the motherland. In front of the Studenica Foundation, the event was covered by a member of our group for the diaspora, Djordje Bastajic.
We are glad that we participated in such an important event and we hope that there will be more and more of them.
