Studenica Foundation Awards 40 Scholarships to Outstanding Serbian Students for the 2025/2026 Academic Year
The Studenica Foundation has awarded 40 scholarships to students who achieved notable academic success over the past year, distinguished by high grade point averages, awards at national and international competitions, and participation in reputable professional and scientific projects. For more than three decades, these scholarships have supported talented young people in developing their skills and advancing their knowledge, recognizing the very best among them.
The scholarship agreements were ceremonially signed on Thursday, January 15, at the Foundation’s premises at 89 Krunska in Belgrade.
In an effort to strengthen the reputation of the honorable and highly important professions of teachers and educators, 14 scholarships were awarded to students who chose these callings.
As in previous years, scholarships were granted to students from all parts of Serbia, including Kosovo and Metohija, as well as young people from the Republic of Srpska.
The list of scholarship recipients can be viewed here.
This year, more than 550 applications were submitted, making the selection of forty recipients among many talented, hardworking, ambitious, and socially engaged students with a strong need for financial support particularly challenging. Therefore, it is important that as many individuals as possible who recognize the value of investing in education contribute to the scholarship fund, as education is a prerequisite for the overall progress of society. The annual scholarship for the current academic year amounts to RSD 200,000.
