We present the publication 'Queens of Chess'

We are excited to present our latest publication, 'Queens of Chess', which is dedicated to the game of chess and the empowerment of women in the chess world. This publication is a result of the hard work and dedication of chess professionals and enthusiasts. It was initiated by the founder of our Studenica Foundation, Miroslav Michael Djordjevic (1936-2023), who departed during its preparation.

Since 2016, the Studenica Foundation has been supporting and encouraging girls' interest in chess through the project of chess tournaments for female students in Belgrade elementary schools. The goal of this project is to not only popularize chess among younger generations but also to promote the overall development of girls through the intellectual challenge that chess provides.

"With the hope that these lines will be a modest contribution of the Studenica Foundation to the spread of chess culture in Serbia, let them remain a personal legacy of Miroslav Michael Djordjevic's talent among the young generation, the enthusiasm of tournament organizers, and the efforts of the “Delfin” Chess Club to ensure that our chess queens reclaim their throne in the coming years"
