Isidora Janković is a medical student at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Niš. She is the president of the Center for Students’ Scientific Research (CNIRS) and also a member of the organizing scientific committee for the 60th Students' Congress on Biomedical Sciences of Serbia, which included international participants. Isidora was an undergraduate teaching assistant of Radiology at the Department of Radiology in the 2019/20 school year, while in 2017/18 she was an undergraduate teaching assistant of Anatomy at the Institute of Anatomy. She is a member of the Publishing Committee of the Academic Council, the Students’ Parliament and the Students’ Union of the Faculty of Medicine (SUMF), the Public Health and Humanitarian Affairs Department of the Student Union of the Faculty of Medicine and the International Federation of Medical Students Associations (IFMSA-Serbia). She has participated in numerous national and international congresses, including 58-60th Students' Congress on Biomedical Sciences of Serbia, with international participants, the 18th International Congress of Medical Sciences (ICMS) in Sofia and the 28th European Students’ Conference (ESC) in Berlin, Germany. She was appointed as the Ambassador of Culture at the Faculty of Medicine for the 2015/16 school year. She is also an Ambassador of numerous international student congresses, including the international conferences in Leiden (LIMSC), Porto (YES Meeting), Sofia (ICMS) and Banja Luka (BLIMC). During her studies, she attended a molecular biomedical seminar at the Research Center “Petnica“ and was a member of the European Youth Parliament. She speaks English, French and German. Aleksandra Baklaja is a senior at the Faculty of Political Science University of Belgrade, majoring in International Relations. Aleksandra is an alumni of the International and Security Affairs Center (ISAC fund) and Belgrade Center for Security Policy (BCSP). She has repeatedly taken part in organizing the Belgrade Security Forum (BSF) as a volunteer, as well as in organizing a joint international conference ISA-CEEISA 2019 in Belgrade. She participated in a seminar at the United Nations Headquarters in Geneva. She was a participant at the Young Leaders Security Seminar in September 2018 and the Summer School of American Studies in October 2019. Since February 2020, she has been engaged in the project „American elections“ sponsored by the Center for Social Dialogue and Regional Initiatives at the US Embassy in Belgrade. As one of the speakers at the conference „International and European Law – Theoretical Problems,” she presented a paper on „Human Rights and the Concept Responsibility to Protect in Libya in 2011.“ She also published a paper in the student journal Politeuma in November 2019. Her main interests are in the fields of foreign policy and international relations, in particular international security and international security cooperation, fields in which she plans to continue for a master’s degree, along with further research. She speaks English, French and Italian and her hobbies are dance and photography. |
Luka Radičević is a senior majoring in international relations at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana. He graduated from high school from the bilingual Serbian/English department. He works as a demonstrator at the House of Experiments in Ljubljana, for which he wrote and adapted a mini-linguistic experiment based on the “automatic reading” hypothesis. Currently he is working on a screenplay for a scientific play entitled “Linguistics”, with the aim of bringing the social sciences closer to people and the popularization of science in general. With the same goal, he occasionally writes for the youth portal "YouthVibes.rs". Luka is the author of seven published scientific papers and a short chapter in a collected work, while he is currently working on four more research projects in his field of study. |
Anđelija Marković is an undergraduate student of Pedagogy at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Pristina. She obtained her previous education at the Middle School of Medicine in Kosovska Mitrovica. She has won various awards and prizes, of which the award for " Student with the best GPA” in the department of Pedagogy for the school year 2018/19" is undoubtedly one of the most prestigious. Andjelija has also mastered basic-level sign language. Furthermore, she participated in several professional trainings for pre-schoolers, and she actively taken part in the comprehensive study of motor functions of preschool children, as the assistant to the Doctor of Defectology. Her interests gravitate towards family pedagogy, psychology and philosophy. Several of her papers were published in the Journal of her alma mater. She has been a member of the Pedagogical Society of Serbia since 2018. Furthermore, she volunteers in the Youth Educational Club "Synergy" where she provides assistance in event planning for various events. She has also attended numerous seminars, during which she became proficient in Project Management. She enjoys travelling, writing, meeting new people and cultures, and gaining new experiences in life. |
Marija Stankovic is a first year student of the Medical Faculty at the University in Nis. She is a volunteer at the International Federation of Medical Student Association (IMFSA) - Local committee Nis – department of Public Health. She graduated from both elementary and high school as a Vuk Karadžic- diploma holder, the best student of her graduating class. Marija was also a scholarship holder of the Foundation Ana and Vlade Divac. She is a volunteer at the Red Cross in Prokuplje. Marija is a member of the National organization for Rare Diseases of Serbia. Through her tenure with the organization, Marija became acquainted with and passionate about the topic of rare diseases, and the problems of people suffering from rare diseases and their families. Marija has shown great commitment to diagnosing rare diseases and promoting them on social networks. She has been a volunteer at the Foundation “Together for Youth – Dr. Danica Grujicic“ since 2019. Marija has participated in many competitions. She won the EU- progress award at an EU art competition, and her work was selected and is on the European Union calendar for 2020. She was a participant in the 7th Republic competition in healthcare, where she and her team won 2nd place. At another Republic competition, against international competitors, Marija won 1st place in the category of art works and 2nd place in the category of literary works. In high school, she was an active member of the section Health Education and Realistic Overview of Injuries and Diseases. Marija has given over 20 lectures in the field of medicine, of which she singled out as examples lectures on “Nutcracker's syndrome and superior mesenteric artery syndrome,“ as well as a lecture on “Pharmacology of the gallbladder“. In high school, she was the president of the student parliament, and the organizer of many humanitarian actions. Marija is a lover of literature and art, but her greatest love is medicine. She speaks English fluently. |
Lora Milutinović was born in Belgrade in 1997, whereas she spent her childhood outside of Serbia (Santiago de Chile, Chile; Kingston, Jamaica; Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago). Upon her return to Belgrade, she finished her primary and later secondary education at the prestigious Fifth Belgrade High School for gifted mathematicians. During her final years of high school, she attended an archeology seminar at the Petnica Research Centre. The knowledge she accumulated there was encapsulated in a paper she co-authored on zoo archaeological analysis of osteological material from the Brangović excavation site (Milutinović L, Pantić N. analysis of zoo archaeological material from sites 5 and 6 at Jerinin grad-Brangović. Petnik Volume: Valjevo, 2017). Later on, she was an associate at the research centre Petnica, where she assisted in mentoring the work of younger colleagues in areas of archeology and art history. Due to the fact that her early childhood was spent abroad, her active knowledge of English enabled her to become a translator for foreign dignitaries at exhibitions in the Natural History Museum in Belgrade. In addition to English, she also speaks French and Italian. Lora is currently living in Belgrade where she studies art history at the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade. She is currently working on her graduate thesis in the field of modern art. She was a member of the associate club of the National History Museum in 2019, during which time she also worked as an intern at the Serbian Academy of Arts and Sciences. In that same year, she volunteered at the Museum of Contemporary Art for Marina Abramović's exhibition “The Cleaner". In addition to art history, Lora is highly engaged in environmental activism. After attending an ecological camp in Anjala, Finland in the summer of 2019 she became a brand ambassador for the US company Pela Case and as an ambassador she promotes the company's idea of the importance of compostable materials. |
Darinka Kasikovic is a final year student at the Faculty of Medicine in Foca, University of East Sarajevo, Department of Dentistry. She felt the call for this work in elementary school. During her university studies, she acquired certain knowledge and skills which she has been applying for two years by working with patients of all ages. She is a participant in numerous school workshops and congresses, as well as actions on health promotion. She attended the School of Molecular Medicine. She was a representative of her department in the Student Parliament, where she advocated for student rights. In order to help the elderly as much as possible, as well as people with disabilities, she does volunteer work. She also shows her humanity as a member of the Association of Voluntary Blood Donors. The sports spirit that characterizes her has been with her since elementary school, when she started playing basketball actively, winning numerous medals, cups and certificates during her career. As a member of the first team of the women's basketball club Leotar from Trebinje, she achieved her peak as the champion of BiH. Djordje Ogrizovic is an undergraduate student at the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, University of Belgrade. During his high school years, he developed an interest in the field of environmental protection, with a special focus on the processing and purification of wastewater. He was a student at the Talent Center and the Petnica Research Station (where he is now a lecturer and associate). He conducted several research projects, for which he was awarded numerous recognitions, among the most significant of which are two gold medals at the International Conference of Young Scientists and the award of the World Organization for the Protection of Intellectual Property. He was chosen as the Young Hero of Serbia in the field of science (second prize), and he is the winner of the highest national recognition in the field of education - the Saint Sava Award of the Ministry of Education. He represented Serbia at numerous international conferences: the largest children's world summit in Artek, the World Geographical Olympiad in Poland and Russia, the World Olympiad of Young Scientists in Romania and Germany, and the European Student Parliament in Great Britain. He is an associate in the Creative Pen Educational System on programs related to environmental protection and is a youth coordinator at the Center for Science and Innovation - Intersection Point. |
Viktor Stamenkovic is a fourth year student at the Faculty of Political Science, where he currently serves as a student - assistant in the subject ”Political System of Serbia”. He was one of the organizers of the Student fest (2018) event, which aimed at enabling young people in Belgrade to experience all the charms of the Serbian capital in a creative and original way. Also, he was one of the educators who worked on the Popular Democracy Project (2019), implemented by the Faculty of Political Science in Belgrade and the Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD), which targets high school students who are eligible to vote for the first time. As part of the project, various workshops were organized through which high school students became acquainted with the electoral process and the importance of political and civic activism, as well as personal responsibility. In 2019, at the Zlatibor Open Conference, he was also a moderator on the panel entitled “Foreign Investments and Foreign Policy of Serbia.” Speakers on the panel were Professor of Economics Dr Miodrag Zec, editor-in-chief of NIN weekly magazine Milan Culibrk, and economic diplomat and former ambassador Srecko Djukic. Since 2018, he has been an active member of the NGO Center for International Public Policy where he distinguished himself in organizing various events and writing texts on various socio-political topics. He is a great fan of the film industry, but his main fields of interest are happenings on the political scene of Serbia, the Western Balkans and the world, international relations and foreign policy, as well as twentieth-century history. Ivana Simeunović studies Molecular biology and physiology in Belgrade, Serbia . In the summer of 2019, she got an internship at the Institute of oncology and radiology. She is also the author of a scientific paper named „Plant probiotics: Role of Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria in promoting plant growth and increasing drought tolerance“, done at the department for biochemistry and molecular biology. From October 2018 to January 2019 she attended a science journalism school at the Institute of physics. Ivana is the author of popular scientific article „Why corals bleach?“, published on the portal Science through stories. Her area of interest includes human molecular genetics and its application in medicine. Ivana is active volunteer of the organization named NURDOR, where she participated in numerous actions involving children with cancer. Lazar Cvetković is currently a final year undergraduate student at the University of Belgrade, School of Electrical Engineering at the Department of Computer Engineering and Information Theory. During his school years, he has participated in numerous competitions in physics and informatics and Petnica Science Center seminars. His area of interest includes electronic design automation, high-performance computing, and embedded systems. During the Summerof 2019, he was a research fellow at Rice University in Houston, TX in the area of distributed stream processing under the guidance of Prof. Dr. KonstantinosMamouras. Lazar is fluent in English and has elementary proficiency in Italian and Greek. He also plays the piano and sings in a choir. |
Aleksa Mitrovski is a student at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Belgrade at the Department of Information Technology in Mechanical Engineering. He previously graduated from the Aviation Academy with an average of 5.00, and as one of the best students, he had the opportunity to stay for two weeks at the prestigious French academy Alexandre Denis in Sernia through the Erasmus + student exchange project. There he gained significant work experience and a certificate for work on aircraft. During his schooling, he actively participated in the political life of the school, being elected president of the class in the third year, and a member of the Student Parliament in the fourth. As a member of parliament, he managed to win the organization of collecting corks for the organization Plug for Handicap. Along with schooling, he volunteers through the organization Young Researchers of Serbia. He was also on a volunteer stay in Italy to preserve and restore abandoned villages and the surrounding nature. In addition to the above, he has been actively involved in sports since he was a child. He has numerous medals in swimming, hockey, archery and taekwondo, a sport in which he achieved the title of master. He enjoys playing the guitar and learning the language, both on their own. He believes that the key to solving all the world's problems lies in education and its accessibility. |
Jelena Jevtić is a student of international relations at the Faculty of Political Sciences in Belgrade. She finished a two-year acting school at the Sabac Theater, where she then actively practiced acting for eight years. The beginning of Jelena's studies was marked by her election as the representative of Serbia at the World Festival of Youth and Students in Sochi, and then at the international youth conference in Moscow. Upon her return from Russia, she did an internship in the European Movement in Serbia. She participated in the organization of the Belgrade Security Forum, two years in a row, as a volunteer in the team for participants and the team for protocol. She participated in the International Week of Civil Society in Belgrade in the role of volunteer coordinator. In addition, she participated in the regional dialogue organized by the United Nations agencies within the platform - Dialogue for the Future, held in Sarajevo. She actively participated in the simulations of the work of the United Nations bodies, in order to currently perform the function of a member of the organizational team of the Belgrade model of the United Nations under the auspices of the United Nations Association of Serbia. Teodora Šiklošić graduated from Zrenjanin Grammar School as a "Student of the generation" and is a first-year student of English and German language at the Faculty of Philosophy in Novi Sad. At the same time, she is taking an IT Management course at the IT Academy. She also completed a course in journalism and marketing. She is a volunteer for the "Divac Foundation" , of which she was a scholarship holder, and she also helps "Nurdor", a charity for children with cancer disease. She was also the recipient of a scholarship from the city of Zrenjanin and the "Euro for Knowledge" foundation. During her schooling at Zrenjanin Grammar School, she participated in many projects and public classes, some of the topics were: the fight against human trafficking in cooperation with the "Astra" organization, remembrance of Holocaust victims, anti-fascism, Karl Marx, feminism, Serbian female writers in the early 20th century. Helena Miljković is a final year student of the Faculty of Physics, majoring in Theoretical and Experimental Physics, as well as the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Nanoelectronics, Optoelectronics and Laser Engineering. For many years she attended the Seminar of Physics at IS “Petnica”, and then became a Fellow at the seminars of Physics, Technical Sciences and Summer Science School. She has written two projects on the topics "Examination of the Characteristics of the Floating Bridge” and “Molecular Dynamics Investigation of 2D Structures Composed of Magnetic Hard Spheres in External Magnetic Field” in collaboration with scientific groups from the Institute of Physics in Belgrade. Milan Djordjevic is a fourth year student of the department of Molecular Biology and Physiology at the Faculty of Biology, University of Belgrade. From the very beginning of his undergraduate studies, his area of interest became bioinformatics, within which he specialized during his internship in the Laboratory for Plant Molecular Biology at the Institute of Molecular Genetics and Genetic Engineering. He continues to study the field in the Laboratory for Bioinformatics and Computational Chemistry of the Vinca Institute of Nuclear Sciences, where he takes part in an international project on the functional annotation of new genes in cooperation with Temp University in Philadelphia. In the last year, the focus of his interest has become the field of DNA nanotechnology, in which he received the opportunity to professionally improve as a scholarship holder of the prestigious Amgen Scholars Program at the University of Cambridge. He has an interest in applied science and entrepreneurship, as evidenced by the recognitions in the field of innovation that he carries. As a member of "AIESEC", he worked on the organization of the employment fair "Career Days" in the role of team leader. Sara Simović is in her third year of studies as one of the best acting students at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad. She has participated in festivals in Russia and Slovakia, and she plays in charity performances at Steria's Youth Theaterin Novi Sad. Sara often plays in shows that raise money for children without parental care, and she also played in a play for prisoners in a prison in Novi Sad. Sarah actively participates in poetry readings. She was an actress in the feature film "Drive Me to the Sea" while she was still at the beginning of her studies, and today she continues to improve and receive various awards, such as the Film Front Award for acting in the movie "Pink". Her greatest love is theater, and her greatest desire to be part of a large and good collective. Pavle Vuckovic is a first-year student at the Faculty of Economics in Nis. He is a member of the European Youth Parliament where he participated in numerous sessions in various positions (delegate, organizer, journalist). During high school, he attended the bilingual German department, where he obtained a diploma for the C1 level and actively participated in all school activities and contributed to its image. He also participated in the National Geographic Olympiad, where he won third place. During the year, he regularly volunteered at various festivals and events. For 7 years, he has been a singer in the Nis church-singing group "Branko", with which he regularly participates in the life of the church and the city, but with which he also represented Serbia throughout Europe. He recently started his engagement in the Student Association Nova at his faculty. |
Vukašin Božić is a 3rd year student at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Belgrade, majoring in signals and systems. He is currently practicing at the companyZanus Technology, where he specializes in microcontroller programming and control of electric motors. In addition to his studies, he participates and engages in various fields. Within the faculty, he is an active member of the student organization SUETF, and also participates in events at the „Karaburma“ dormitory where he lives while studying. Vukasin has also been a voluntary blood donor for many years. He organizes mentoring in the subject "Physics 1" within his faculty. During high school, he was a student at the Petnica Research Station, where he wrote the paper "The Emergence of Chaos in Electric Cars" at a physics seminar. He is also the winner of a number of national awards in mathematics, physics and electrical engineering. Vukašin obtained certificates of knowledge of the software package "LabView", as well as for proficiency in English CAE-C1 level. He has extensive practical knowledge of sciences such as mathematics, physics and electrical engineering, as well as engineering fields such as programming in a large number of programming languages and packages, signal analysis and processing, statistics and probability, systems management, digital and analog electronics , and machine learning. Currently, he is most interested in artificial intelligence and machine learning and sees a great use of knowledge and achievements in these fields for humane purposes, both from the aspect of medicine and in helping people in their daily lives. He is active in sports, mostly basketball, and plays electric guitar. |
Natalija Stolić completed her undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Security, University of Belgrade, and is currently a master's student at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, Department of Project Management. During her undergraduate studies, Natalija was an active member of the Student Club of the Faculty of Security. First, as a member of the section for the United Nations, she participated in the simulation of the session of the United Nations Security Council at the international conference SzeMUN 2017, held in Szeged, Hungary. After that, Natalija was the head of the public relations section, and later the president of the Supervisory Board, and she had the opportunity to participate in the organization of a large number of activities at the faculty, such as lectures, forums and workshops. In addition to engaging in the organization of faculty activities, her volunteering outside the faculty is also emphasized, such as participating in the organization of the Belgrade Security Forum in 2018 and 2019. During June 2019, she was part of a project organized by the Belgrade Center for Security Policy entitled "Promoting the concept of security sector reform on online platforms" and is the author of the article "Special measures of secret data collection in the Republic of Serbia" which was published as a result on Wikipedia. At the end of 2019, as a representative of the Youth Movement of the European Movement in Serbia, Natalija participated in the Regional Dialogue Platform, which was held in Sarajevo with the aim of improving social cohesion in the region. Driven by the desire to constantly acquire new knowledge and skills, she intends to further improve in master's studies, in order to continue to be an active member of her community and society. Her areas of interest are human rights and the concept of human security, peacekeeping operations, conflict resolution and mediation, as well as European integration. She is fluent in English and is currently learning Spanish and Turkish. |
Vladan Grgur is a third year student at the Faculty of Engineering, majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering - Computer Science and Automation. He moved to Novi Sad from Republika Srpska, where he has proven to be a versatile and excellent student since elementary school, which he confirmed as the best student in his generation. He also earned that recognition in high school. He is an active participant in the student union of the Faculty of Technical Sciences, where he organizes student forums and conferences, as well as sporting events such as the Summer Football League. He participated in cleaning the riverbeds of the Musnica River, as well as organizing actions for the decoration and cleaning of his hometown. He is interested in physics and the natural sciences but also history, literature, politics and diplomacy. He is fluent in several programming languages, and plans to work in programming. Ilija Gavrilović is a fourth year student of International Studies at the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Belgrade. He finished elementary school and high school in Belgrade. He has participated in numerous programs, projects and workshops related to reconciliation, dealing with the past, human rights, cooperation and connecting young people in the Western Balkans. Of the programs in which he participated, he especially singles out the participation in the international project "Strengthening student skills in debating and promoting democratic values among young people" (2019/2020), organized by the Center for Euro-Atlantic Studies and Organizations from Slovakia-MESA10, opportunity to be part of the team of the Faculty of Political Sciences and present a practical policy proposal to members of the European Parliament. In addition, he is especially proud because he had the opportunity to participate in the Project of Political Education and Development of Youth Relations between Serbia and Croatia, within which he spent a week at the Faculty of Political Science, University of Zagreb. |
Zdravko Celovic is a third year student on Faculty of Economics in Belgrade,module consulting and business analysis.During the first year of college he was member of organization ‘’Aiesec’’ in team for organizing projects ‘’Empower Youth’’ and ‘’Career Days’’.He got experience in accounting by working for company ‘’ICI’’,where he participated in making annual reports.Zdravko also plays volleyball since he was 13 as member of volleyball club ‘’Roda’’. Zdravko’s interests are history,sports analytics and primarily investment banking,his future field of expertise.His goals are finishing college and getting masters degree,and then development of Serbian financial market,which is very important for Serbia’s development in future. |
Emilija Jovanović is a student of undergaduate studies at the Faculty of Biology, University of Belgrade, in the module of molecular biology and physiology. She has won numerous awards, including a silver medal at the International Conference of Young Scientists in Stuttgart, the Dragica Nikolic Foundation Award and the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts Award for success in international competitions and contribution to representing our country in the world. The successes she achieved enabled her to continue her education as a scholarship holder of the Government of the Russian Federation at the Faculty of Biology of the State University in St. Petersburg, and after that at the Faculty of Biology of the University of Belgrade. She is dedicated to science, so far she has had the opportunity to specialize in research at the Vinca Institute of Nuclear Sciences, the Institute of Molecular Genetics and Genetic Engineering, the Center for Nanobiology and Structural Biology in the Czech Republic and the Academic University in St. Petersburg. unique in that it was founded by the winner of the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2000, Jores Ivanovich Alfiorov. Emilia participated in numerous conferences in the country and abroad, and she was one of the youngest participants in the conference and workshop "USA - Serbia and the Western Balkans, Workshop on Data Science". She is a frequent participant in events aimed at promoting science, such as the Science Festival and Researchers' Night. She is a member of the Center for Scientific Research of Students of the Faculty of Biology and the editor of the journal "Symbiosis". Emilija is an associate and knowledge ambassador of Brainz TV. She speaks English and Russian, and dedicates her free time to the promotion of science and education, photography and learning about new cultures. |
Novak Ćojbašić is a final year student at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, Department of Information Systems and Technologies. He has been awarded several times by the faculty for the success achieved during his studies. He was a long-term member of the "Divac Youth Fund", where he participated together with other members of the foundation in the realization of youth projects. He had the opportunity to be a member of the Municipal Commission for the Implementation of the Local Youth Action Plan. As the president of the student parliament in the high school, he realized projects intended to improve the student standard in the school. He volunteered at the Red Cross. He was hired by the Municipality of Blace as a member of the Youth Council. He has been engaged in beekeeping since he was fifteen, and in addition to his academic obligations, he takes care of about thirty bee communities. He speaks English and speaks Russian. His goal is to complete his undergraduate studies as a student of the generation, and then his academic training to teach abroad. He plans to apply the acquired knowledge to the development of the country, primarily the municipality he comes from. |
Djordje Nikolic is a master's student of history at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade, where he also completed his undergraduate studies. He is the holder of the recognition of the students of the generation on two occasions. Since 2019, he has been the president of the Student Union of the Faculty of Philosophy. He is also a member of the Parliament and the Council of the Faculty of Philosophy. He is the organizer and moderator of a couple of scientific forums and seminars, as well as humanitarian actions in order to collect aid for endangered families from Kosovo and Metohija. He is involved in social activism. His area of interest is the history of Albanians, Kosovo and Metohija, as well as the relations between Serbs and Albanians. He has published two professional papers in student scientific journals. It is the second year of learning the Albanian language at the Faculty of Philology, University of Belgrade. He is interested in journalism and has so far published a couple of articles in the field of history and politics on various media portals in the country and the region. He plans to enroll in the UNS School of Journalism in the spring. He loves art. |
Jovana Jović is a freshman at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, majoring in Management and Organization. She is the founder of the Youth Vibes organization and the former editor-in-chief of the eponymous portal for which high school and university students write throughout the Balkans. It was one of the first portals edited exclusively by high school students. At the Superste competition by Erste Bank she won funding for the "Youth Connect" project. At the international competition SALTO PI, she won first place with her organization for media literacy. She participated as a PR, later as a team leader for three years in a row at one of the largest scientific festivals in the south of Serbia, "Science is not a ghost". She was a journalist on the "Humans of the Balkans" project and a facilitator on the "CodeRobotic" project. For two years in a row, the team is the leader of the volunteer team at the “Brave New Media Forum” conference organized by the Deutsche Welle Academy. She won the award for the best photo report given by the Local Press. She has attended many workshops, seminars and conferences, like the 6th Global ECPD Youth Forum YOUTH POWER FOR THE COMMON FUTURE, Mediamocracy Camp, USAID Project Media Summer School and the Youth meets media conference in Moldova. |
Vedrana Vojčić she is a third-year undergraduate student at the University of East Sarajevo, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Special Education and Rehabilitation. Vedrana opted for Logopedics and Surdoaudiology. In her spare time, she volunteers with the Children and Youth Assistance Association with a disability "Glimmer of Hope." She was a member of the Student Parliament, the Student Union of the School of Medicine, and one of the editors of the student newspaper. She attended the Summer School of Clinical Skills as well as the School of Molecular Medicine. Her main interests are working with other people, primarily working with young children and supporting their effective communication, and forming personalities at an early age. She speaks English, French and Russian, and in her spare time loves to play volleyball and go cycling. |
