MEETING AT THE FACULTY OF PHILOLOGY TO DISCUSS PARTNERSHIP

On Tuesday, March 4, 2025, representatives of the Studenica Foundation met at the Faculty of Philology of the University of Belgrade with Dr. Iva Draškić Vićanović, Dean of the Faculty, and Dr. Željka Janković, the student affairs coordinator.

The meeting focused on cooperation between the Studenica Foundation and higher education institutions that train teachers and educators, with the aim of restoring the prestige of these professions.

Discussions included the current interest among young people in teaching and educational professions and the efforts made so far to encourage them to pursue this noble calling. Ideas were exchanged on how the Foundation, through its activities, can continue working on improving the reputation of these professions in collaboration with higher education institutions.

It was concluded that mutual support and cooperation are very important and that, in addition to higher education institutions in the country, foundations, organizations, and all interested parties should join this project to achieve a stronger and greater impact.

We believe this is the first in a series of successful meetings with higher education institutions and that we will all work together on this very important social issue.
