Commendations for our students of the Faculty of Law
On January 27, 2022, the Faculty of Law of the University of Belgrade marked the school's celebration - Savindan, and on that occasion, the traditional Saint Sava ceremony was held.
The program of the ceremony was led by prof. dr Miloš Stanković, who welcomed everyone and gave the floor to the Dean of the Faculty of Law, prof. Dr. Zoran Mirkovic. In his address, the dean referred to the life and work of Saint Sava and said that judging by everything recorded in historical sources, Saint Sava would still work on enlightening his people, who need enlightenment and civility of all kinds. He would reconcile the irreconcilable, because peace and agreement on basic issues are the pledge and foundation of every healthy community. He would advocate the introduction of law and order, because if there is no law and order, there is no survival, let alone progress. And finally, he would teach his compatriots and fellow citizens that it is not possible to live in isolation and closed, without relationships with others and different and without living contact with the world around us. That is the reason why we celebrate the memory of this great man today and in the future. Professor Mirković finished his Saint Sava sermon, congratulating everyone on the school's glory - Saint Sava.
The Faculty of Law of the University of Belgrade has traditionally awarded commendations to students who are in the 2020/21 school year. years achieved an average grade of 9.00 to 10.00.
Our scholarship holders Tijana Glišović and Nevena Nedeljković also take a place among these students with their work, effort and daily efforts. Everyday work and student engagement implies activity within study groups that are regularly held within subjects, which require additional work and student activity. The winners of the letters of thanks actively participate in the writing of seminar and scientific papers, and the contribution they give in the light of better ideas is very large. Participation in student organizations at the faculty is just another type and indicator of a student's readiness to show their ideas and exchange opinions with their other colleagues. Tijana Glišović and Nevena Nedeljković are actively involved in the promotion of true values and encourage other young colleagues to encourage and express their ambitions towards scientific work.
