CALL FOR STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS IS CLOSED!
A new application cycle for the Studenica Foundation's student scholarships for the academic year 2023/2024 is now closed.
The application period was from September 11th to October 30th, 2023.
These scholarships are awarded to Serbian students enrolled in universities within the territory of the Republic of Serbia and the surrounding region, covering various fields of study (social sciences, humanities, biomedical and technical sciences, arts, etc.). Several positions will be reserved for freshmen who demonstrate leadership potential and community involvement.
This year, a decision has been made to grant a number of scholarships to students pursuing teaching professions, with the aim of contributing to the restoration of the prestige and dignity of the teaching profession. In collaboration with the deans of these faculties, we have compiled a list of the top-ranked freshman students. We kindly request them to emphasize this in their scholarship applications. We also encourage other students pursuing teaching professions, regardless of their year of study, to apply.
Since the enrollment process is ongoing during this period, please feel free to indicate the expected results in the fields where they are required.
The eligibility criteria for candidates include being regular students at any year of undergraduate (including freshmen) or master's studies at accredited higher education institutions and being enrolled in the semester for which they are seeking the scholarship. Outstanding academic achievements, demonstrated financial need, and experience in extracurricular, humanitarian, and volunteer activities are also taken into consideration.
This year, the Studenica Foundation will grant scholarships in collaboration with the Serbian Philanthropic Association from New York. To support an increased number of scholarships, especially for teaching professions, we will hold a special event in November this year with the support of the academic and scientific community, as well as many individuals and media outlets. We look forward to this and believe we can assist in the education of an even greater number of students than before!
Good luck!
