ODRŽANE KRALJICE ŠAHA

On Sunday, March 26, at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Belgrade, the eighth traditional youth chess tournament for students of Belgrade elementary schools was held. The event called "QUEENS OF CHESS" has been held since 2016 in the organization of the chess club "Delfin". He's at the tournament over 100 girls participated, divided into age categories.

The little chess queens were greeted by Alisa Marić, celebrated grandmaster, legend of Serbian chess.

The competition was fought, but in the spirit of fair play. All participants received are medals and appropriate gifts, and the most successful girls received them cups and chess books. The general sponsor of the event was Studenica Foundation. The Foundation points out that they are glad to be able to support the youngest, and convince them how important it is to develop from a young age in fields that significantly affect the improvement of their abilities and intellectual capabilities.
